Lip Balm
Radiant Rose Lip Balm is formulated to hydrate and rejuvenate lip skin while adding a smidge of rose color. The blend of mango and kokum butters, carrot infused argan oil and chamomile infused avocado oil supplemented with rosehip seed oil, organic glycerin, vitamin E and a tint of rose mica helps to nourish and protect lips while keeping them moist, smooth and soft. As a natural humectant glycerin soothes and helps retain and preserve moisture of the skin. Rose mica, considered a natural colorant, provides the pink-red tint that appears dark, however is less vibrant when applied over the lips. A small amount of carnauba wax helps to thicken the mix while adding a silky feel and extra protection to delicate skin. Vitamin E brings its own antioxidant properties to the blend. Both geranium and rose essential oils are used for their antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties as well as their benefits for healthy and radiant skin.

Botanicals
Carrots (Daucus carota) are commonly used vegetables that are cultivated or grow wild. Rich in flavonoids, minerals and vitamin A they are efficient an antioxidant (beta-carotene) and anti-inflammatory agent providing beneficial nutrients and aiding in repairing damaged skin tissue. They are especially suited for treatment of sensitive skin.
Chamomile: Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, skin-soothing rich in powerful flavonoids herb noted for its analgesic abilities to ease inflammation of joints, muscle pain, rheumatism and sprains, and help to heal and calm skin rashes, acne, and eczema. Since it contains flavonoids, including apigenin and quercetin, it is excellent choice to use in skin care to support skin regeneration and collagen production and protect free radical damage.

CARRIER OILS
Absorbs quickly. Argan oil is gentle, highly moisturizing and recommended for all types of skin in need of deep hydration. Noncomedogenic and will not clog pores. Rich in Vitamins E and A. Has anti-sebum qualities and will naturally reduce excess oil production. Prevents sun damage, soften skin, and reduces fine lines.
Since avocado oil (Persea gratissima) is derived from a fruit it makes an excellent choice for those with tree-nut allergies. It is quite thick and oily with a rating of 3 on the comedogenic scale but works well in softening and hydrating skin and is well suited for easily irritated, dry and sensitive skin. Due to its high concentration of vitamin A, E and D along with proteins, lecithin and essential fatty acids it is a beneficial agent to aid healing of inflamed skin as well as reducing the appearance of aging spots and scars. It is gentle and easily absorbed by the skin.
Rose hips are small bulbs filled with seeds underneath rose petals. They are naturally rich in antioxidants, including vitamin C, B and E and polyunsaturated fatty acids that help to boost skin cells restoration, maintain healthy skin tone and hydration, protect against free radicals, aid in reducing inflammation, decrease scarring and support wound healing.
Cosmetic BUTTERS
Kokum Butter: Rich, creamy and lightweight plant butter that moisturizes and softens skin. Non-comedogenic and easily absorbed. Beneficial to use with all skin types including acne-prone or sensitive skin. Rich in vitamin E and many powerful antioxidants. Nourishing and soothing properties that are ideal for skin that is dry, inflamed or damaged by radical elements skin. Kokum butter is identified as the most structurally and chemically stable plant butter along with its ability as a natural emulsifier.
Mango Butter: Creamy, skin-softening and moisturizing plant butter rich in vitamins C, A and E, fatty acids, salicylic acid and antioxidants that hydrate and nourish skin and protect it from sun damage. Vitamin C component aids wound healing and helps to improve skin complexion, calm redness, even out natural skin tone and lessens hyperpigmentation. Essential Oils

Rose EO: Anti-inflammatory, astringent, antibacterial, antimicrobial and skin-soothing essential oil that is rich with antioxidants like vitamins A, C, citronellol and geraniol. It is beneficial for healthy complexion as it helps to hydrate, rejuvenate, soothe irritations, moisturize, brighten and refine the skin tone while disinfecting it at the same time. Especially effective in treating mature, dry or sensitive skin.
Additional Ingredients
Carnauba wax is a natural, vegan wax that comes from the leaves of the Copernicia cerifera botanical, a Brazilian palm tree called “The Tree of Life”. It is used as an emulsifying, thickening and skin-softening agent that is compatible with all oils and prolonging a shelf life of products.
Glycerin, also known as glycerine or glycerol, is a natural humectant derived from plant-based oils that helps retain and preserve natural moisture of the skin, keeping it soft and hydrated while allowing it to breathe. It is non-greasy and well suited for all skin types.
Rose mica is a pink-red colored metallic mica pigment. Mica is a mineral found in nature and considered a natural colorant for cosmetics, soap, and other formulas. It can also be produced synthetically. In its natural state it comes as sheets or flakes that are ground into a fine sparkly powder in an array of colors from white, black and brown to more vibrant ones like pink, red, yellow, blue and green. Mica powder is non-toxic, safe to use on the skin and complies with the FDA criteria for natural products.
The antioxidant properties of vitamin E are skin nourishing, hydrating and allow for protection from free radical damage, reducing signs of aging, hyperpigmentation and healing of scar tissue. It is also helps to extend the shelf-life of products made with botanical oils.
